As Software Engineer I might be happy, but as an environmentalist am not
Here in Mysore - India, yesterday, I went to a nearby hill station for prayer. It was damn hot and looked like The Sun was shooting at us with a great heat rays.
Once I reached the hills, am supposed to leave my sandals aside to get myself enter into the temple.
After the very moment I slipped out of my Sandals, I started dancing, not because of excitement, but the road was heated up, so that no one can dare to walk without slippers.
Cant help it though, somewhat I managed to enter into the temple.
But before entering into temple, I was watching the commuters and those who do business on the sideways and platforms, wherein I saw a poor lady with her 3-4 years old son, selling things like home-made crafts and whatnot.
The small kid was completely angry with his mom, and he was throwing at her whatever he finds in his hand.
But after sometime I realised that this kid is angry because he is barefoot!!!
He should be walking around without slippers from the morning , or perhaps from the day he put his little foot into the ground of mother earth.
I was shocked seeing the kid walking barefoot with the Sun heating up the every layer of the earth and cried, with tear from my eyes and blood from my heart, because of the fact that I cannot even stand barefoot there for 5 seconds but this kid is walking around without slippers.
First thing came to mind after this sadness is I now really realised that I should care about my environment, I should care about my mother earth. I should grow trees!!!!!
